Data: The on-chain "largest short position in WTI crude oil" increased its short position by 15.6 million USD intraday, with a total position size reaching 24.3 million USD
According to monitoring by Hyperinsight, the "largest WTI crude oil short" address (0x17c...) has been rolling over its CL (WTI crude oil) short positions continuously from last night to this morning, accumulating approximately 190,006 CL short contracts, with a total value of about 15.6 million USD.
This address has been increasing its positions until the past hour, and currently, its 3x leveraged CL short position has reached 24.3 million USD, with an average price of 83.5 USD, a liquidation price of 110 USD, and an unrealized profit of 150,000 USD (1.7%), making it the largest on-chain CL short holder.
Previously, it transferred a total of 11.5 million USD to Hyperliquid in the past 24 hours, most of which was subsequently used to increase its crude oil short positions. In addition, this address also holds a 3x leveraged NATGAS (natural gas) short position, amounting to 1.43 million USD.
