Plume has announced a collaboration with DigiFT to introduce a tokenized financial instrument known as iSNR, which mirrors the performance of a senior loan strategy managed by global investment firm Invesco. The initiative is set to launch on Nest, Plume’s flagship staking protocol focused on real-world assets (RWAs), marking a significant step in integrating traditional finance with blockchain-based ecosystems.Expanding Access to Institutional-Grade CreditAccording to information released by the involved parties, the iSNR offering represents a private credit product that will now be made accessible to a broader range of investors via tokenization. By incorporating Invesco’s senior loan strategy into the Nest platform, Plume is aiming to bridge the gap between traditional institutional finance and decentralized finance (DeFi).The product will reportedly allow users on the Nest platform to stake their stablecoins in exchange for yield-generating exposure to a diversified portfolio of senior secured loans. These loans are selected for their stable operations, dependable cash flows, and substantial asset backing. This exposure, previously available primarily to institutional investors, will now be open to retail users under more flexible conditions. Lower minimum investment requirements and enhanced liquidity features are expected to further increase accessibility.Programmable and Composable Investment OpportunitiesPlume has emphasized its goal of transforming institutional financial instruments into programmable and composable assets within the Web3 landscape. The firm’s leadership expressed that incorporating a senior loan strategy managed by a prominent asset manager like Invesco helps position Plume as a destination of choice for traditional institutions venturing into the RWAfi (real-world asset finance) sector.Through the Nest protocol, staked positions will become interoperable within the Plume ecosystem, allowing users to not only earn yields but also deploy their assets in a variety of DeFi applications. These could include lending, borrowing, and the creation of more complex financial instruments. This level of composability is being presented as a core feature of Plume’s broader strategy to integrate conventional finance into decentralized platforms.Secure and Compliant On-Chain StrategyDigiFT’s involvement ensures that the iSNR tokenized note meets compliance and security standards suitable for institutional-grade finance. Its founder and CEO highlighted that tokenizing Invesco’s long-established senior loan strategy, while maintaining regulatory adherence, marks an important advancement in transforming real-world assets into blockchain-native products. He indicated that the collaboration reflects a broader shift toward making such assets not only tokenized but also interoperable and programmable across multiple platforms. The announcement builds upon an existing working relationship between Plume and DigiFT. Both organizations have previously aligned their efforts toward bringing traditional financial instruments on-chain at scale, and this new initiative signals continued progress in that direction.By integrating Invesco’s asset management expertise with Plume’s staking infrastructure and DigiFT’s compliance protocols, the iSNR token is positioned as a compelling offering for investors seeking exposure to institutional private credit within a decentralized framework. This collaboration is expected to pave the way for more innovations in the tokenization of real-world financial strategies. The post Plume and DigiFT Launch Tokenized Note Backed by Invesco Loans appeared first on CoinTrust.
