Lido’s oracle system has a multisig structure that requires signatures from 5 out of 9 participants. No security breaches were detected in the eight oracle nodes other than Chorus One.The DAO’s statement included the following statements:“Emergency Lido DAO vote announcement: Due to the compromise of the oracle private key belonging to Chorus One, the Lido oracle node in question will be rotated.”Authorities stated that the leaked key did not directly control funds and that there were no flaws in the oracle software. The oracle system in question is responsible for transferring data from Ethereum’s consensus layer to smart contracts.
