Tether announced the launch of a new generation of modular btc-42">Bitcoin mining infrastructure, enhancing energy efficiency, cost control, and scalability through its self-developed high-density computing system.

The solution is built on application-specific hash board modules and developed in collaboration with Canaan Inc. and ACME Swisstech, decoupling computing, power supply, and chassis structure to achieve component-level optimization and flexible upgrades. Compared to traditional integrated mining machines, this design supports on-demand expansion, replacement of individual components, and improves thermal management efficiency. Tether stated that the new system can combine immersion cooling to reduce energy consumption and operational costs while increasing system availability. This architecture also allows for dynamic adjustment of performance output in real operating environments to meet different mining site demands. This upgrade is based on the previous development results of its open-source Mining OS (MOS) and Mining SDK, marking its extension from software control to hardware design, further strengthening its autonomous control capabilities over mining infrastructure.
