Trump Fires Back at Fed Upheaval: ‘I Don’t Care, They Should Be Loyal’
BlockBeats News, January 15th. In response to the U.S. Department of Justice's investigation of Federal Reserve Chair Powell, some Republican senators have expressed strong dissatisfaction. It is expected that they will block the nomination of a new Fed chair to defend the central bank's independence. In response, Trump issued a tough statement.
Regarding the internal Republican opposition, Trump said, "I don't care, there's nothing to say. They should stay loyal."
Furthermore, in response to JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon's warning that "Trump's intervention in the Fed could raise inflation," Trump also struck back, saying, "I don't care what he says."
